Verse of the Day:
"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me." – Psalm 28:7 (NIV)
When Your Strength Runs Out
We’ve all had days when it feels like the weight of the world is pressing on our shoulders — the bills are piling up, relationships feel strained, or the future looks uncertain. In those moments, it’s easy to think, “I just need to be stronger.”
But what if the solution isn’t about being stronger on our own, but about resting in God’s strength?
Psalm 28:7 reminds us of two powerful truths:
God is our strength – giving us the ability to keep going even when we feel like giving up.
God is our shield – protecting our hearts from the enemy’s lies and from fear that can paralyze us.
When our hearts trust in Him, He doesn’t just help us survive; He helps us thrive with peace and joy in the middle of the storm.

Learning to Lean on Him
Sometimes, we treat God’s strength like an emergency backup plan — we only call on Him when we’ve reached our limit. But His invitation is to walk in His strength daily, even on the good days.
This means:
Starting the day with prayer instead of worry.
Reminding ourselves of His promises before the pressures of life hit.
Trusting His protection over our lives instead of living in fear of “what ifs.”
When we lean on His power, we discover a peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances.

A Prayer for Today
Lord, thank You for being my strength when I feel weak. Teach me to rely on Your power and not my own. Guard my heart with Your peace today. Amen.
